AI & Automation Engineer

Apply Now

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative AI & Automation Engineer to join our team. This role is a hybrid of a traditional automation engineer and an AI specialist, focusing on the development and implementation of intelligent, self-healing, and fully automated infrastructure.

You will be responsible for creating “Infrastructure as Software” using tools like Ansible, Python, and other advanced automation platforms to eliminate manual processes, enhance system reliability, and enable data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both traditional systems automation and a foundational understanding of how to leverage AI to create more intelligent and autonomous systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a systems administration, DevOps, or automation engineering role.
  • Core Automation: Deep, hands-on expertise with Ansible for configuration management, infrastructure provisioning, and application deployment.
  • Scripting & Programming: Strong proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Solid understanding of IaC principles and experience with tools like Ansible or Terraform.
  • AI/ML Fundamentals: A foundational understanding of AI and Machine Learning concepts, including data pipelines, model deployment, and how to apply them to infrastructure automation.
  • Systems Administration: Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
  • Version Control: Expert-level experience with Git and a strong understanding of branching strategies.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) or AWX.
  • Familiarity with public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience with other automation tools like Puppet or Chef.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
  • Familiarity with other AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Key Responsibilities

  1. Infrastructure as Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain a fully automated infrastructure using Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules, treating infrastructure as a codebase (e.g., version control, testing, code review).
  2. Intelligent Automation: Explore and integrate AI/ML techniques into automation workflows to create self-managing and self-healing systems, such as predicting failures or automatically resolving incidents.
  3. CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Work with development and operations teams to integrate automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous delivery and deployment.
  4. Tooling & Platform Management: Administer and optimize automation platforms and tools, including Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), Jenkins, and other similar technologies.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Systems Engineers, Developers, and Data Scientists, to understand requirements and implement automation that aligns with business goals.
